The Highlights and Sights of Morocco

Located in Northwest Africa, Morocco offers an abundance of destinations and activities. We have collected some of them for you.

Camel Trekking

When trekking with our sure-footed and gentle dromedaries, each guest gets their very own riding camel and we’re accompanied by pack camels carrying the luggage, tents and food. Our animals are extremely peaceful and they are accustomed to hiking with us. You can enjoy riding the landscape or walk along next to your dromedary and feel the soft sand around your feet.

Experience a strong connection to nature while hiking with your dromedary for one or more days. We seek to avoid the everyday hustle and bustle and you’ll quickly appreciate the calming rhythm of the caravan.

The Nomadic Life

In between the hikes across stone deserts and through beautiful dune landscapes your reliable companions prepare a copious picnic under shady acacias and tamarisks. After the break, the hike continues until your travel group reaches a beautiful camp, set up our tents and our chef will prepare a typical Moroccan dinner at the camp fire. And again and again you will be spoiled with the traditional desert tea.

You can spend the nights in one of the typical nomad tents or, if desired, under the breathtaking starry sky of the sahara!

Marrakech

A city with features of a classical holiday oasis, trendy metropolis and arabian nights. The artistic treasures and the extraordinary and varied hotel offerings have made Marrakech world-famous. Spending a night in a “Riad”, hotels in restored historic buildings with calm inner courtyards and roof gardens, is certainly one of the must-do’s when visiting the city.

Stroll the picturesque markets (souks) of the city and spend the evening on the famous Djemaa El Fna square and enjoy the incomparable ambience. The square has to offer countless activities, shows and culinary lures.

Kasbahs

In Morocco you can explore numerous castles called “Kasbahs”. They can be found either inside or outside of densely populated areas, for some have served military purposes, while other were used solely as accommodation. The manifold architecture of the Kasbahs is very popular among tourists. Many hotels in the maghreb states are based on this particular construction style and convey the spirit of living in one of those historic castles. The magnificent Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou in Ouarzazate has served as a backdrop for numerous Hollywood movies.
